Patrice Evra joins Marseille from Juventus as former Manchester United defender agrees 18-month deal
Evra's time in Italy is over after the Juventus man agreed a
deal to return to France with Marseille.
The former Manchester United defender agreed terms to join
the Ligue 1 side until the end of the 2017-18 season and has joined the club
after completing a medical.
The 35-year-old defender joined Juve in 2014 and has two
Serie A title, two Coppa Italia titles and a Suppercoppa Italia in 2015.
Marseille are managed by former Roma manager Rudi Garcia.Before
moving to Italy, Evra spent eight trophy-laden seasons at United.
The 35-year-old left United three years ago during Louis van
Gaal's first few weeks in charge having made 379 appearances.
Evra won the Premier League five times, the League Cup three
times, the Community Shield five times, the Champions League once and the FIFA
